Ok, first off this is not a post about how to behave IN the elevator but a post about how to get on and off the elevator. It is brought to you by the stupid people at the mall who you have no idea why they're even riding the elevator. You know the ones. They don't have kids in a stroller, a wheelchair or any other need to get on. These people are the same ones who stand RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE DOOR when you are trying to get off the elevator. Hello! Move! You could get on more easily if you just got your fat ass out of my way so I can get off and make more room. But, no. You insist on standing immediately in front of the door. Yup, now I have to go around you and push the stroller through the racks of clothes to get by. Thanks, I appreciate it. Next time why don't you walk the extra 20 feet and take the escalator like rest of the normal people? You know the elevator takes longer, right? I would take the alternate route if I could, but evidently people look down on you when you put your stroller on the escalator. So until my kid is old enough to toodle around the mall on his own two feet, do me a favor and move back from the doors (or better yet, stay home). Otherwise, next time, I'm just going to take that stroller and run your ass over.
